The Duke of Aswan needs a woman to overcome his shortcomings and Sylvia Lauren needs a place to stay.
All these calculations were completed in less than five minutes. Sylvia calculated her winning chances and decided to pretend to be a quiet and gentle wife for now. She didn’t want to get out on her own unless she was kicked out.
“You said you were pregnant with my baby.”
Sylvia was very surprised by the sudden question.
Victor’s voice was deeper than I thought. His appearance was huge like a mountain that could trample an enemy flat, but his voice was as soft and gentle as that of a poet.
“That’s what happened.”
“Boy or girl?”
“You’ll only know when they are born.”
“When will they be born?”
